About the Collection

The Gelman Stained Glass Museum is home to the most comprehensive collection of stained-glass windows in the United States. The collection features 174 antique windows, masterfully crafted in the 19th and 20th centuries. Renowned stained-glass manufacturers include Tiffany Studios; John La Farge; Mary Tillinghast; F.X. Zettler; Tyrolese and Mayer; Cox, Buckley, Sons & Co.; J&R Lamb Studios; Franz Mayer Studios; and La Casa Del Vitral.

About the Museum

The Gelman Stained Glass Museum is the largest antique stained glass museum in the United States. The museum started construction in 2015 and officially opened doors in December of 2021, constructed solely to house the collection. The stained glass windows are each illuminated by back-lit LED lighting, each window specially curated to resonate the brightest, perfectly replicating the effects of natural sunlight. With over 16,000 square feet to wander through, this museum is a must-see destination for anyone interested in art, history, and glass.
